We need five things to price a gym accurately: the type of facility, its rough size, the number of showers and toilets, the floor surfaces and the hours we can access the site. Visit frequency and any franchise or head office standard help us write the scope.
Wet areas drive the price
Showers and toilets take longer than any other zone, so the fixture count matters more than the square metres.
Access hours set the plan
Overnight, before open or between classes. The window decides the crew size and the order of work.
Photos cut the guesswork
Grout, drains, floors and busy kit show us the starting point, so the first price is close to the final one.
Site walks
When do we walk the site first?
We walk the site before quoting any daily program, any facility with several change rooms, and any 24-hour gym. Small studios and one-off cleans can usually be priced from the form and photos alone. Walk-throughs are free and take around twenty minutes.
A walk-through lets us check the things photos miss: how the alarm zones are split, where the crew can store kit, the condition of the grout and drains, and how busy the floor is at the hour we would be cleaning.
Site walks across metropolitan Melbourne are usually booked within the week, at a time that suits you. Bring any cleaning standard you already work to and we will price against it.
